Getting to Know the Bay ROES Interface
Bay ROES features a streamlined and organized interface that is easy to use, yet full of powerful features. Roll your mouse over the graphic below to learn about the different areas in Bay ROES.
The Image Area displays thumbnails of your images along with their corresponding file names. Thumbnails can be organized by dragging and dropping one thumbnail above or below another. Other options for organizing the thumbnails are available by right-clicking (Windows) or Control-clicking (Mac) anywhere in the Image Area. Learn more >>

The Layout Area shows the currently selected product. To add an image to the currently shown product, drag it from the Image Area. The current product name is shown beneath the layout area. Learn more >>

The Sizes Palette contains all of the print sizes and templates available through Bay ROES, organized into tabs. To select a print size or template, simply click once on the product icon of your choice. Additional Catalogs of products can also be accessed through the Sizes Palette. To show the Sizes Palette, hold down the ALT key (Windows) or Option key (Mac) and click on the SIZES button. Learn more >>

The Options Palette contains special options for the selected print size or template, such as color, black and white or sepia, background color, stroke color, background opacity, font, and more. Retouching and other image options can be found under the Image Options tab of the Options Palette. To change an option on the selected product, simply click once on the option of your choice. To show the Options Palette, hold down the ALT key (Windows) or Option key (Mac) and click on the OPTIONS button. Learn more >>
The Image Editing Area contains tools for cropping and rotating images and/or layouts. Learn more >>
The Control Panel contains several photographer, order, and application-wide settings, including your customizable Bay ROES Preferences. Visit the other sections of this tutorial for more information about available settings.
