Bay ROES features a number of user-editable preferences that affect the way the application behaves. To access the Preferences menu, click on the PREFERENCES button in the Control Panel.

When checked, causes the Image Area FOLDER control to search the sub folders within the selected folder for images, in addition to just the selected folder.
When checked, shows a representative thumbnail of the image. When unchecked, a placeholder standard image is used.
When checked, adds a blue border to thumbnails of images that have been included in an order item. Makes it easy to tell what has already been ordered.
When checked, shows status of the order being sent in the Queue Window.
When checked, shows areas of image node that can be clicked and dragged to rotate and/or resize node using Pager.
When checked, automatically switches to the Edit tool after using the Draw tool in Pager.
When unchecked, the Banner Area with the Bay Photo logo is hidden to give the user more working space on the screen.
When unchecked, all prices in the application are hidden. Otherwise, lab pricing is shown. This feature allows photographers to show their clients the products available in ROES.
When checked, rearranges the commonly used tools and preferences so that they are available in the layout area for quicker access.
When checked, a vertical print size will rotate to accommodate a horizontal image and vice versa. When unchecked, the image will rotate to accommodate the print size.
When checked, images will be automatically rotated counterclockwise instead of clockwise when the image is a different orientation than the print size.
Orders are automatically backed up for the number of days specified. Keep in mind that ROES orders do tend to take up a lot of hard drive space, so we recommend setting this to the lowest value that you feel safe with.
You can use the button to the right of this field to browse to an image editing application that is installed on your computer (ie. Photoshop). Once you've selected an image editing software, you will be able to right-click (Windows) or CONTROL-click (Mac) on a thumbnail and choose OPEN WITH IMAGE APPLICATION to edit the image file.
